Dyson's Delve - Level 4
Week 4 and Level 4 of Dyson’s Delve – my mini-megadungeon.
I like the map of this level because of the secret hall and rooms surrounding the southwest side of the map, allowing one group of monsters to prey on another.
This level is also easy to bypass as the stairs to level 5 are in the same room as the stairs to level 3. This is done because the main section of the level is terrorized by a heavy-duty pair of 6 hit die creatures that will be more than a match for a level 2 party should they take them on the wrong way.
The feel of this level is more open than the previous levels, with multiple paths to get to or from any point except the entrance / exit of the level. This helps create the feeling that the residents of this level are living “on the run” from the local menace that prowls the corridors.

As usual a great looking map. I just wanted to say thanks for the comments on my blog. It was your great geomorphs that got my creative streak going using your style. So thanks again for the kind words.
We’re using Dyson’s Delve to break in a new DM – as in “this is his first time to DM and he just started RPG-ing this year”.
I’ve been passing them to him without reading them or checking out the map. We started play last week and cleared out the giant weasels (or was it ferrets?) and the rats and some of the goblins before we had to retreat due to lack of healing (and hit points for that matter). I’ll post a link to the adventure log once I get it written and posted.
Please keep it up, this is perfect for what we needed!
Awesome! Can’t wait to see the report.
And the whole thing should be up in the next six weeks or so.
