One last delve into the Grand Ruins to end the series and as a nice bonus for those of you looking for GMs day stuff this March Fo(u)rth. On the overview map of the Grand Ruins, there is a small wall and towers blocking off an open section in the interior of the area. These fortresses are the homes to gnolls and hobgoblins and a few other undesirables and are the last things that need to be cleared out so the party can reclaim the ruins properly.

The Grand Ruins Overview
There are actually a total of three small fortresses within the interior of the Grand Ruins, as well as the gatehouse that prevents entry into this area until the party is powerful enough to take on the residents. The interior also provides access to a crystal clear lake and waterfall, much healthier sources of water for the garrison than the black lake under the Fortress East.
I do like yours maps. Very inspirational and useful. I much prefer hand drawn maps than anything else, gives it more character.
Love your maps! This one gave our group about 2 game days worth of playing.
Did you know that the left part was taken up by the undead and left alone by the aberrations that had set up shop in the right side while they excavated the center part for artifacts from the Dhakaani empire period set under Sharn in the Eberron dnd campain setting?
Thanx for making my job as a DM a little easier!
Awesome!
Under Sharn no less, under the very noses of the adventurers and the great dragonmarked houses.
