Labyrinth Lord
Over on the Goblinoid Games forums I try to keep track of free downloads available for Labyrinth Lord (and thus by extension for B/X D&D). Here are a bunch of free resources culled from there and from Goblinoid Games themselves. If you know of any Labyrinth Lord resources I missed here, please let me know and I’ll add them (and in turn probably start a resources page). These are all downloads, stuff you can download, print and use without bringing your computer to the game table.
Core Rules
- Labyrinth Lord Revised (free art-free PDF)
Expansions
- Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion (free art-free PDF)

- Official Advanced Edition Companion Character Sheet (Portrait)

So fill me in, I know I’m missing a LOT of free downloadable resources – aim me at them!
I also have a 2d6 Bard for LL (based upon your 2d6b Thiefin’);

I love your Bard, and somehow missed that you had posted a PDF version. Awesome
I was going to say “you’re missing the Original Edition Characters expansion”, but the free version of that seems to be gone again. I’m glad I got it during the brief time it was available…
Although I started with LBB D&D, I’m just not old-school enough to prefer it over B/X. Although I do wish that Dan would release a free version of OEC for completeness. I also have his Chtonian expansion, but a free version of that isn’t needed – that’s exactly the kind of expansion book that the whole retro-clone system is designed to produce.
How about: Expansions – Original Edition Characters (text version)

For some reason the previous comments weren’t showing when I posted the above comment. As you can see from my link above the free version of the OEC is still available.
WordPress has a silly “Toggle Comments” link…
That’s the free text version of OEC that I got, but for some reason it’s not linked from the LL web page. I remember that there was a problem with releasing the free version before, and people nagged Dan for a while over on Dragonsfoot; he had to keep telling people that he was working on it as fast as he could.
I wonder if he just forgot to add the link to the Goblinoid Games LL page, or if there’s some reason why it was removed.
That’s just the wordpress configuration I’m running. The upside of the Toggle Comments is that it lets you view the comments on each article on the front page without having to expand the article. Not a wordpress problem, but a specific configuration I chose to set up and use.
You suppose we should ask Dan about the OEC free download situation on his blog or the Goblinoid Forums?
The link to the Spell Reference Sheets seems broken, does someone still have it in pdf ? I would appreciate it.
