A couple of weeks ago, Jeff Rients of Jeff’s GameBlog issued a challenge to the Geomorphers. Okay, he phrased it as “an idea”, but really. He wants to see cross-section dungeon geomorphs instead of overhead geomorphs. Damnit Jeff, I am not your personal performing monkey! Just because I love cross-section dungeon views and started this whole geomorph revival does not mean you can just say “jump!” and I’ll get on it!
The nerve of that man.
Please ignore the attached image containing two sideview geomorphs and one surface-level sideview geomorph.
hahaha. Now Jeff will have all kinds of delusions of grandeur. I think you’re doomed.
I don’t really know what images you’re talking about, because you’d never cave in to Jeff’s demands.
But if you did, they would be really inspiring. Please do cave in to Jeff’s demands! 🙂
Looks fantastic, I hope we see lots more and it catches on with the other geomorph bloggers.
Brilliant.
Dance, monkey, dance!
But seriously, those look awesome.
Of all the things one could be, I’d like to think that being Jeff Rient’s dancing monkey would be kinda cool. He’d feed you ice cream and take you on walks to the park and play frisbee with you.
Oook, oook!
So now you’re a librarian too?

Ok, damn it, I will play with the monkey too. Posted mine too, it is like a drug I cannot resist!
Very cool. I have to say the detail I love the most is the depiction of spiral staircases in profile. Subtle, a minimum of ink, but instantly recognizable as what it is. Super cool!
I hope Jeff feeds you plenty of fruits and nuts for your efforts.
I gotta hand it to you, you know how to add the right amount of detail and still have simplicity.
