Every now and then, I draw a map.
Here’s one!
This is meant to be a classic adventure scene where the brave heroes are descending down from a high mountain pass via a series of narrow switchbacks along the steep face of the mountain. This particular spot is well known because the narrow path crosses behind a smaller promontory (the “Little Goat” according to local parlance, thus the origin of the name) and several caves and artificial constructions have been dug into the face of the mountains here.
I kinda wish the different areas were more connected, maybe stacked as the path winds lower. However, it’s still a good map. I think the tree is my favorite part.
There’s something about your style of drawing that is just so inspiring. Even if I don’t use your maps I bookmark 80-90% of them to come back to for inspiration.
