The Ruined House on Abbot’s Hill
My best #fridayfiveminutemap to date. The paper and pen didn’t get along great though, so there are some blurs and streaks where my hand picked up ink and redeposited it elsewhere on the page. But it was drawn in 5 minutes with a generic black gel pen on a scrap of paper I found on my girlfriend’s desk.
Another minute was spent in snapseed playing with it.
Dude, your stuff is great. I can barely draw a straight line so I’m in awe when I see stuff like this made in a handful of minutes.
Looks great! Those are not blurs and smudges, Dyson…. they are deposits of soot and ash from ill-begotten arcane events at the ruins!
Nice work! Snapseed is my new favorite tool.
Great map, and the smudges actually add character so no worries. Never heard of Snapseed so I’ll check it out.
I wouldn’t worry about the smudges; makes it look more genuine. 🙂
This map makes me wonder what the central, small room is for: a shrine in which the monks amde their prayers and sacrifices? A gateway to a higher plane? This looks like a good site for a beginning party, maybe with one of your smaller dungeons or crypts underneath.
