Running through my backlog of maps, this one caught my eye because of the organic feel of the environment, the little details, and the lovely secret connector between the two sets of caves.
Queen Hezran’s Shrine was drawn in a single draft using a 0.7mm gel pen in a dollar-store pocket-sized notebook. It is available for your non-commercial use as long as you provide full credit and link to this page.
If you like Queen Hezran’s Shrine and maps like it, please check out Dyson’s Delves – a book of similar maps and adventures.
Very cool, as always!!! Dyson, you are a machine at cranking this stuff out. Keep up the great work brother!!!
Nice. Perhaps this shrine is where Queen Hezran worshipped the demon who brought her to power. And the winding stairs down? Inspiring just by their existence. 🙂
I bought your book. very happy with it! 🙂
Another great map, Dyson. Natural feel of the caves that make me “see” this in my mind’s eye! Best part to me is the stairway going down to the long-neglected “cellars” of the forgotten shrine….
Envisioning a deranged cleric; laicized by his order and cast out to reside within the dismal, dank caves of the lost shrine. This may be due to a criminal conviction, a disciplinary matter, or a disagreement with his superiors over doctrine or dogma. Whatsoever the case may be, the unstable cleric begins to conjure up a nefarious plan to exact his revenge apon his former brotherhood.
