More “lost maps” today featuring two different temples from the smallest of the Reunion Islands, detailed in this weeks Tuesday Map post.
The first of these is a traditional stepped pyramid, with many interior chambers only accessible through secret doors (one of which is reached by a shaft under the altar, the other two of which are build into the structure’s lower walls).
The second temple consists of a low stone platform facing the ocean, with heavy stone walls (also riddled with secret chambers) on three faces.
The Reunion Island Temple maps were drawn in pencil on plain white paper with a gridded underlay page. They were then lost, found, scanned and subjected to some high-level contrast-enhancement.
As a footnote, I’m going to be away and off-line for the next few days (probably 5-6 days). The blog will continue to update (I’ve got posts written up for quite some time to go), but I won’t be in a position to respond to comments or to self-promote and chatter on google+ or the Goblinoid Games forums until I get back home.
Thanks for the maps Dyson! Have a great trip!
I presume that the first one has an unlabelled stairway or shaft behind the northern secret entrance. Although I can see way you would leave it off, that would be rather messy to draw.
