Draw Maps! Win Vaguely Cool Stuff!

The Dungeon of Lost Coppers

The Dungeon of Lost Coppers

I’ve been sitting on this map since November when I drew it for a contest that never happened. So to heck with that, it’s time for a Dodecahedron Contest!

Welcome to the “Dungeon of Lost Coppers”, a partially drawn dungeon map. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to print it off (either the gridded or the gridless version) and then finish it. Or you could decide to finish it off digitally (avoiding the whole printing aspect).

Regardless, once you are done either scan it, photograph it or somehow produce a digital copy of the map. Then email that digital copy to dyson.logos@gmail.com

I’ll post every entry I get here on the blog (with full credit to the artists involved), and if I get a dozen or more entries that get past the curating process (see below) I’ll give away one of the last remaining copies of the Deluxe Edition of Dyson’s Delves and will include at LEAST one hand-written original and never before published adventure inside it (as well as the adventure that only appears in the Deluxe Edition that has never appeared on the blog).

So yeah, play with a Dyson map, win vaguely cool (and unique) stuff.

Anyone can win – winner of the book will not be chosen by style, ability or product, but by random lottery (although only “serious” entries will make it into the random lottery – so just drawing six lines in crayon will NOT get you a prize – this is the curating process described above). Any other prizes I decide to give away (like some original maps and stuff) will be based on curated and judged contest entries, but the main prize (the book) will be won by a random entrant from the curated list.

The finished product remains your copyright, although by submitting to the contest you are granting me license to publish your entry with full credit to you for the design. You are also welcome to post the map to your own blog, publish it wherever you want, etc. Have fun with it!

The Dungeon of Lost Coppers contest will be open for submissions for two weeks – closing up at 23:59 Eastern Standard Time of Sunday, February 23rd, 2014.

Don’t forget about Erik’s awesome OSR Superstar contest. This isn’t a “competing” contest – he’s got tonnes of awesome prizes and a tiered progress system (like the Paizo contest that it’s based on). This is something different because I don’t have to sit on this map anymore.
