For this game I was poking around with yet another character sheet design. It is still a bit too busy for my liking, needs a few more remixes and games before it is ready for public use.
Also, my character illustration is cheesy garbo.
I just made a B/X sheet myself. One thing I did was to put explicitly what the ability scores do, since it’s different for every one and they each even do different TYPES of things. Why not give that some real estate on the sheet? It’s a LOT to remember.
It’s page 3 here. https://fictivefantasies.files.wordpress.com/2018/04/devils-sieve-player-guide-4-18.pdf
I’m just not a fan of putting that info on the page anymore. Most of that is from knowing the system so well that I never question it.
Very nice! B/X D&D is where I started. Thanks – that made me smile.
It was the third edition of D&D I played, but it weaseled its way into my heart and has never let go as my favourite.
Looks nice. I’m considering going old-school for my next campaign (currently DMing 5E), not sure which game to choose but I may well use one of your designs as a standard character sheet.
Funerals.
Short answer: No. No, there is never a bad time for B/X.
Very nice. I like the clean look you’ve got going here.
