Due to some prodding by a number of people (you know who you are) I’ve tried picking up the old Deck of Many Things project again after a two and a half year-long hiatus. Still no promises that this will ever get finished as I don’t find that my new cards have the same feel to them as the ones I started with… But we’re up to 10 cards now…

They all look great to me, but if you’re not into it then I think you should put it aside.
Now, I don’t know what’s bugging you about the new ones, but maybe turn up the amount of whitespace a bit (esp. on the Vizier, Knight, and Void).
Also, the Knight’s visage is possibly a bit too ‘realistic’ to fit in with the rest – it might work if it was more symbolically abstract.
Finally; I think the Void would look rad if the ‘streamers’ were composed of strings of glyphs diminishing and fading into the central void orb. Perhaps try without the black borders too.

The new cards are looking great! However, maybe the card concepts would flow better if kept very simple. In other words, each card would be represented by an item (except the Void, obviously). For example, the Knight (shield of sword), the Vizier (censer, scroll, or eye), the Fates (loom or genie lamp), the Euryale (broken mirror), etc.
Either way, if this gets completed, I’m definitely buying a set.

That actually works directly against the purpose of this particular deck. The deck is always described as having each card inscribed with glyphs, characters, and magical sigils… and yet every version I’ve seen of the deck only has a single item as representation on the card and lacks any of these stated glyphs, characters, or magical sigils.
Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I definitely didn’t intend to suggest the lack of the runes. Your rune designs are killer additions to your concepts. I was merely suggesting that the central image be a simple and symbolic design (alongside the rune), if that would help bring the deck a more cohesive feel.
This is what I love about this set. It feels like it’s the actual deck inside the fission of the game! Would back a kickstarter or purchase print-on-demand decks. ♥️
Please finish..they all look awesome, way better than anything else I have seen….I am a purist, and these fit the original description in the old Dungeon Masters Guide perfectly….will back a Kickstarter or whatever…..
